At this year’s show, UFP Technologies will be showcasing the BioShell® Suspension Pack which protects single-use biopharmaceutical bags during storage, handling and shipping. BioShell provides superior protection by enveloping single-use bags in a durable film that suspends products within the polycarbonate shell. The suspension film absorbs shocks during impact and limits movement of the bag and its components. BioShell is compatible with any bag, at any fill level, and accommodates all port, tube, filter, and clamp combinations.

UFP Technologies also offers an insulated shipping container specifically designed to house the BioShell. Our insulated shipper keeps frozen BioShells within the required temperature range (as low as -80°C) during transport. Additionally, the BioShell and insulated shipper can be customized to meet customers’ specific transportation and temperature requirements.
